Hi! We’re Teresa and Scott — a creative couple who fill life with laughter, adventure, and heart, and can’t wait to grow our family through adoption.

We first met at work and built our relationship across coasts, learning how to communicate, stay connected, and laugh through anything. Teresa is a warm, funny, and thoughtful person with deep roots in her Native American heritage (Tohono O’odham Nation). Scott is a commercial director with a big heart, a creative spirit, and a gift for making everyday moments joyful.

Our home is colorful and welcoming, surrounded by family and friends who are thrilled to see us become parents. We believe in kindness, creativity, humor, and unconditional love — and we can’t wait to share all of it with a child.

About Teresa

Teresa is one of those people who makes everyone feel at ease. She’s funny, thoughtful, and has a big heart. As a proud Native American and member of the Tohono O’odham Nation, she values the deep sense of community, culture, and connection that comes from her heritage. After graduating from UC Berkeley and earning her master’s at NYU, Teresa built a meaningful career and a circle of lifelong friends. She loves reading, listening to music, and spending time outdoors — and she’ll be an amazing mom who balances warmth, humor, and wisdom.

About Scott

Scott grew up in Southern California surrounded by family, sunshine, and creativity. He’s a commercial director who loves telling stories and collaborating with others. At home, he’s the guy turning up the music, getting everyone laughing, and coming up with ideas that turn an ordinary weekend into a mini adventure. Scott has a natural way with kids — they gravitate toward his playful, curious energy — and he can’t wait to share that sense of wonder as a dad.

Our Home & Community

We live in Long Beach, California, in a comfortable home not far from the beach. Our neighborhood is diverse, friendly, and filled with families and local parks. Our home has an easy, relaxed rhythm — music in the background, something good cooking in the kitchen, and our dog, Mozzy, always nearby. Friends stop by often, and our families are close enough to join us for holidays and special occasions. It’s a place that feels calm, welcoming, and full of love.
