Since shewas a child, Carly has had a passion for protecting the environment and waslucky enough to turn this into a successful career! After working with anational engineering firm for 11 years, she began her own company in 2021 whereshe advises airports on all things sustainability-related. She loves making a difference each day – as well as the flexibility to set her own hours andwork from home that comes with running her own business!

In Matt’swords, “Carly is the kindest person I’ve ever met. She’s a natural caregiver tohumans and animals alike, and happily puts the needs of others before her own.She has a passion for the environment and is dedicated to leaving the planet abetter place for every child who will grow up in it. Most importantly, Carlywas meant to be a mom. She is gentle, loving, and would do anything for Millie.

Matt is a writer for the show Family Guy! Though he originally worked in Finance, he wanted to truly love going to work each day and enjoys nothing more than making people laugh. Over 15 years ago, he made the brave choice to change careers, and the decision paid off. He couldn’t be happier to make a living writing jokes and seeing them on TV each Sunday night! Unlike many jobs, his schedule his schedule includes months off each summer for lots of family time between show seasons.

In Carly’swords, “Matt is the definition of a protector. He would do anything for hisfamily or, truly, for anyone in need. He is unendingly loyal, thoughtful, andsensitive. He is the strongest person I know, and I am always happier in Matt’scompany. Seeing him as a father is the 2^nd greatest joy of my life(after being a mom). He is the most loving dad I’ve ever seen, is constantlyfinding new ways to help Millie learn and grow, and can make her laugh with alook – all while being the best partner I could ask for.”

MeetMillie!

Millie willbe the BEST big sister. She is gregarious, intelligent, beyond funny, and justthe sweetest little girl. We are in awe of her. She loves playing with otherkids at the playground, reading any book we can find (and even “reads” on herown – which is hilarious), swimming, and making us “tea parties.” She also justdiscovered ice cream cones, and is sold! At 2.5 years old, she is starting toask for a baby brother or sister, and we cannot wait for that wish to cometrue.

OurFamily

Two separatefamilies – Matt’s outside of Boston, MA, and Carly’s in Syracuse, NY – havecome together time and time again to support us as a couple and now our Millie.

Matt is theyoungest of five and very close with all of his siblings. Carly has two olderbrothers, both of whom are her heroes and role models.

The 14combined cousins are absolutely head-over-heels with Millie and so excited tocelebrate a new addition!

Althoughth he live on the east coast, it’s important to us to stay close with lovedones, so we Facetime daily and take extended trips to visit. These include amonth around Christmas and the entire summer each year thanks to our workflexibility.
