Thank you again for taking the time to get to know us. We deeply admire your strength and the love it takes to consider an adoption plan. If chosen, they will grow up in a home filled with love, laughter, and support—celebrated for exactly who they are.
No matter what you decide, we’re truly grateful to be part of your journey.
People often say there’s never a “perfect” time to start a family—but for us, this moment truly feels right. We’re surrounded by a strong network of supportive friends and family, we’re established in our careers, and growing our family was one of the biggest reasons we chose our home. Becoming parents has always been a shared dream of ours, and it’s been a meaningful topic of conversation throughout our relationship. As two men, we knew early on that our path to parenthood would look a little different. While we explored surrogacy, it never quite felt like the right fit for us—it felt like it might lean more toward one of us than the other. Adoption, on the other hand, feels deeply shared. It’s a journey we’re fully in together, and it reflects how we’ve built everything in our lives so far: side by side.
Hello, we're Andrew & Devin from Los Angeles, CA. I, Andrew, am a Television Producer currently working on The Jennifer Hudson Show. While Devin is the Chief Technology Officer for SKIMS.
We met in 2014, were married in 2018, and added a playful puppy to our lives in 2020, Dodger. Now, we’re excited and ready to take the next step- growing our family through adoption.
HOW WE MET, BY ANDREW
When we first met, Devin was on a 1 year remote work assignment in Los Angeles—this was before remote work became common, so it felt like a rare opportunity. We crossed paths just 3 months before his time in LA was ending. Our 1st date was at The Red Lion Tavern, the oldest German pub in the city. One drink led to another and we completely lost track of time. We spent the next several weekends sharing laughter, meaningful conversations, and a growing sense that this was something real.
Eventually, Devin’s contract ended and he moved back to New York. Neither of us wanted to pursue a long-distance relationship—but it didn’t take long for Devin to decide to return to LA full-time so we could be together. A few years later, we added our rescue pup, Dodger, to the mix—and our little family grew.
MEET ANDREW
I'm someone my friends often describe as the “dad” of the group — dependable, thoughtful, and always looking out for others. I’m the one who makes sure everything is planned and runs smoothly, and if someone needs something, chances are I’ve already thought of it. Being a steady presence in people’s lives is important to me. I value deep, lasting connections, and many of my closest
friendships have lasted over 15 to 25 years. I'm a great listener and someone people naturally turn to for support, whether they need a helping hand or just someone to talk to. Kindness, consistency, and showing up for others are core to who I am.
ANDREW'S CAREER
Growing up, I always knew two things: I wanted to be a television producer, and I wanted to be a father. In fact, part of what drew me to television was knowing that the schedule often mirrors that of a teacher—with summers and holidays off—which meant more time to spend with family. The idea of having a career I love while also being fully present as a parent has always been my dream.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work on some incredible shows, including The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Voice, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and The Kelly Clarkson Show. While I’m proud of the work I’ve done, nothing compares to the joy and fulfillment I feel at home—with my husband, our pup, our friends, and our family. That’s what makes everything truly meaningful.

TATTOO
I have 4 tattoos, all with meaning, but my favorite would have to be the wolf on my shoulder. Half is geometric, with all the pieces representing ‘the wolf pack,’ or those supporting me. And the realistic half represents the lone wolf, or finding strength in myself too.
MEET DEVIN
I’m a naturally outgoing person who loves connecting with others — making new friends comes easily to me, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know people from all walks of life. I’ve always believed in showing up for others, and I do my best to make sure no one around me feels stressed or alone. Whether it’s offering a hand, a ride, or just a listening ear, I’m someone who will always answer the call. Giving and supporting others isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am. I’m also driven and curious, always looking for ways to grow and challenge myself. But above all, I lead with heart and believe that kindness and empathy should be at the center of everything.
DEVIN'S CAREER
I didn’t always know exactly what I wanted to do growing up—and I didn’t always have people guiding me toward a specific dream. In the beginning, my career was simply about working hard and figuring things out along the way. But over time, I discovered where my strengths truly shine, and that’s opened doors I never imagined possible. Some of the highlights have included working at Snapchat during its explosive growth, overseeing large-scale pop-up experiences at Rockefeller Center, consulting for a range of innovative companies, speaking at industry conferences, and most recently, serving as Chief Technology Officer for Kim Kardashian’s brand, SKIMS.
While I’m proud of how far I’ve come, what matters most to me is being able to share this life with the people I love. At the end of the day, it’s the time spent with my husband, our family, and close friends that brings the deepest joy.

TATTOO
I have 5 tattoos, each holding personal meaning. If I had to choose a favorite, I’d go with my first. It’s a lyric from Mama Cass’s Make Your Own Kind of Music, on the inside of my arm: “No one can tell you there's only one song worth singing.” That lyric has always been a reminder to stay true to myself—that it’s okay to take a different path, even if it doesn’t look like everyone else’s. It’s a message I’ve carried with me through life and one that’s helped me achieve so much by simply trusting who I am and what I believe in.
OUR HOBBIES
Andrew’s passions include graphic design, interior design, puzzles, and video games. Devin enjoys playing music, gardening, and getting out into nature for a good hike. Together, some of our favorite shared activities include traveling, trying new restaurants, hosting game nights, working out, going to plays, visiting amusement parks, dancing in our living room, relaxing by the pool, and cuddling up with our pup, Dodger, for a good Netflix binge. We truly enjoy spending time together and believe that joy, curiosity, and connection are at the heart of a happy home—something we’re so excited to share with a child.
HOME SWEET HOME
We bought our home with the dream of raising a family in it. It’s a spacious, welcoming place with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a loft, and a home office. Devin works from home a few days a week, and we love that we can keep a dedicated office space. We also have a guest room that becomes “Grandma’s room” when she’ll come to help nanny on days we’re both at the office.
What we love most, though, is the community around us. We’re surrounded by kind, supportive neighbors—many of whom are new parents themselves. Our neighborhood is filled with charming local shops and family-friendly restaurants. By Friday evening, the sidewalks are buzzing with families enjoying time together, and it always reminds us just how special this place is to call home.
OUR COMMUNITY
We feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by a strong, loving community that’s ready to welcome a child with open arms. Andrew’s mom—who can’t wait to become a grandmother—plans to help care for the baby on the days we’re both working, bringing not only support but so much love and experience into our home. Many of our closest friends are also starting families—some just had babies and others are expecting soon. One of our friend couples, also a gay family, adopted both of their children as well, and they’ve been such an inspiring and encouraging part of our journey.
We all spend time together regularly—traveling, celebrating milestones, and simply enjoying everyday life—so they’ll be surrounded by playmates, caring adults, and a strong sense of connection from the very beginning through the “village” we’ve built.
PARENTING
Our approach to parenting is grounded in love, respect, and the belief that every child should feel safe becoming exactly who they are meant to be—not who we or anyone else expects them to be. We want to raise a child who knows they are deeply loved and supported as they explore their identity, passions, and purpose in life.
One of our greatest hopes is to instill values of kindness, empathy, and humility. We want our child to recognize the privileges they may have and grow up understanding the importance of gratitude, generosity, and treating everyone with equal respect. We’ll teach them that they are no better than anyone else—and that no one is better than them either.
Open communication will be a cornerstone of our family. We want our child to know that making mistakes is a part of growing up, and they’ll never need to hide or feel ashamed. Whatever comes their way, we’ll face it together— with honesty, compassion, and without judgment.
We know that this journey wouldn’t be possible without the strength
and courage of women like you. So, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering us as part of your story.
WITH THANKS, ANDREW & DEVIN,
