Those most impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic are under-served children and families at Vista. Sadly, for many of these children, the breakfast and lunch we serve each day are their only meals.
As school closures are extended, our students need your help now more than ever. Unlike most families, our kids do not have home access to computers or laptops, and do not have WiFi. Our teachers are physically delivering school packets for every student in need. As we work to meet the needs of these kids, that cannot happen without your support.
Vista’s families reflect the most vulnerable populations in the United States. These families do not have the resources to access life essentials including food during this time, which is why Vista has mobilized an emergency campaign to help every child and family in need.
Your support provides life essentials during this crisis including:
- Grocery store gift cards to fill empty shelves and cupboards for our most vulnerable families
- Tools for remote learning including home access to WiFi, laptops, computers, and other necessities to keep kids learning
- Social Emotional Learning Kits to help children find outlets for their frustration and aggression
- Art Therapy Supplies to help kids find their voice and to keep parents and therapists engaged with children
Each gift of $100 provides a grocery store gift card for one of our families.
Each gift of $250 provides home access to WiFi for one student.
Each gift of $500 provides Art Therapy Supplies and Social Emotional Learning Kits for 5 children.
