Jonathan & Tony
Dear Birth Mom:
We are very happy to introduce ourselves and tell you about our lives and family. We are incredibly excited to be on this journey to parenthood and couldn’t be more thankful for the possibility to adopt and provide an exciting and loving home to a sweet baby. We are fortunate to be in a position to provide a child with a life filled with opportunity, nurturing and love. We can’t wait to open our hearts to a child be the best Dads possible!
About Jonathan & TonyWe both love the Holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. Tony loves to get everything decorated spooky for the Halloween and have friends over.We host “Friends giving” for those close to us who don’t have family or loved ones to share the Holiday. Our home is filled with Christmas music, presents and decorations. We love the snow and spendChristmas in the mountains with friends. We have amazing friends and family in Los Angeles and throughout the country and the world. Our friends are like family and our families are friends. We have a wealth of love and support from those wehold dear, and our child will be surrounded by thoughtful and caring people. In our community we work to help feed and clothe the homeless. We work with the Trevor Project, which helps prevent teen suicide. We love our city and try to help make it a great place to live and raise a family.
We are Johnathan and Tony and have been together for four and a half years. We were married at the Eiffel Tower in Paris in January of 2017. From the first date we discussed both of our desires for children someday. As our love grew, it was quickly clear that we had matching philosophies of parenting with a foundation of unconditional love, family, laughter, education, cultural experiences, and seeing the world.
We live in a charming townhome with private backyard in the best school district in Beverly Hills. The neighborhood is quaint and safe with lots of kids. We have parks, tennis clubs, Theatre/Opera and libraries with a vast array of children’s activities within walking distance. We also have an adorable Cocker Spaniel named Shelby.
Johnathan works as the Business Manager for a family in Los Angeles. His office is in the home of the family he works for, and is walking distance to where we live. The job is filled with opportunity, travel and flexibility for our new family to be together. The best part of the job is getting to be a part of the kids lives. Johnathan is part of the family and helps the kids with homework, fun time and he even helped deliver one of babies. The twins love to come sit on Johnathan’s lap and help run the family’s business.
Tony is the manager of a retail fashion boutique. However, once we have a little one, Tony is going to stop working and be a Stay-At-Home Dad. Tony’s most rewarding work was when he taught Drum Core & Marching Band in a local high school. He has a passion for music and plays numerous instruments and has traveled the country with competative Marching Bands. Our child will have a life filled with music and music education.
We are blessed to have Tony’s family locally in Los Angeles. They are originally from Mexico and built a life in Los Angeles. They are so excited to welcome a new grandbaby to the family, with all of the cousins, aunts and uncles. Tony’s Mom is ready to help prepare the nursery and sing lullabies in Spanish.
Johnathan’s parents live in Tennessee and can’t wait to move to Southern California and be the doting Grandparents. They are counting the days until they can be a “Mimi & Papa” again. Mimi is already shopping for rocking chairs, bassinets and baby proofing supplies and Papa has a little Red Wagon all prepared.
Our Thoughts On Parenting:
Our thoughts and philosophies on parenting are based around love, understanding and responsibility. We ant the child we raise to always know that we will be there for them and love them in the hard times just as much as in the great times. Our goal is provide understanding and support in all aspects of the child’s life and help he/she develop as a strong independent person. We also want to guide and demonstrate to our child the importance of responsibility and kindness towards others, the world around him/her. The love we have to give will be unconditional and everlasting.
