About

Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services was founded in 1908 and has continued to evolve to meet the changing needs of our community. Our 18-acre campus in West Los Angeles, is at the  heart of our exceptional education, mental health, autism, adoption, residential treatment, prevention and early intervention programs. Everything we do is nurturing and accessible. We also provide intensive community based services and a dedicated program for children within the autism spectrum.  We serve over 6,000 children and families annually and their well-being is of the utmost importance to us. Our fully integrated, and fully inclusive, services help children facing emotional, behavioral and developmental challenges and families seeking solutions.

Vista Del Mar’s services and programs have been recognized and accredited by the Joint Commission, the highest level of accreditation that a behavioral health agency can achieve.  Our K-12 schools are  fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.  We are also home to an exceptional higher education program and continue to be a sought after training center in the field of mental health offering internships and fellowships studies as well as a doctoral degree in clinical psychology.

Founded upon Jewish core values expressed through “mitzvot” or good deeds and human kindness, Vista Del Mar serves our entire community.

Our goal is to provide nurturing care to children and provide the tools and opportunities to families so they can build a strong foundation for personal growth and lasting relationships.

Vista Del Mar welcomes all clients regardless of gender, race, age, religion, disability, marital status, ethnic background, sexual orientation, gender expression or gender identity.
